CUH Guidance Documents
Note: For the most current guidance, please refer to the Chaminade University of Honolulu (CUH) IRB Charter.
- IRB Charter and Standard Operating Procedures (AY 2025-2026)
- Guidance on Letters of Support/ Site Permission (2026)
- NOTE: Site permission letters should clearly state that the external organization’s involvement is limited to the activities described and that the organization is not responsible for obtaining consent, managing data, monitoring risk, or overseeing research procedures. These responsibilities remain with the researcher and the Chaminade University of Honolulu IRB. The letter should also confirm that the organization will not have access to information identifying individual participants, that permission is time-limited (e.g., through a specified date or project completion), that any changes to procedures require prior organizational approval, and that no financial compensation is expected unless otherwise specified.
