A Place to Live and Learn
Your college experience isn’t just about getting your degree. It’s also about being part of a diverse community and having experiences outside of academics. It’s a time to step outside your comfort zone and make new connections and memories.
When you’re here, you’ll feel right at home. Speaking of home, we’ve got three residence halls on campus and one just minutes off campus, plus slots of dining options to fuel you up. And there’s always something going on—with over 30 student clubs and organizations, campuswide events—and 12 NCAA Division II athletic teams for you to cheer on.
Student Life Learning Outcomes

2. Apply their unique Chaminade experience with their life, career, and service (Integrated Life)
3. Reflect beyond oneself & help others to do the same (Build Community)
4. Identify & choose to build a community of justice & reconciliation for all members of society (Pursue Justice)
5.Assess a situation critically and develop a plan for appropriate action (Self-Efficacy)
Live college life to its fullest—it’s your chance to explore, connect with other Silverswords and discover what you’re interested in. The Office of Student Engagement oversees all student clubs and organizations as well as student event programming. Student Engagement offers out-of-classroom experiences that promote personal development and leadership training.
Athletics are part of the Chaminade University experience. Our men and women student-athletes compete in 12 NCAA Division II sports—and proud to wear the blue and white of the Silverswords. We compete in the Pacific West Conference, squaring off with schools in Hawaii, California and Utah.
Whet Your Palate
Meal plans for on-campus and off-campus residents, as well as commuting students. You’ll find a variety of dining options and locations on campus—from quick bites to a buffet. Combined with the all the off-campus eateries, you’ll always find a place to fuel up.
Home Sweet Home
Located in Honolulu, our campus is located just a few blocks away from the burgeoning district of Kaimuki. Where you live is just as important as where you learn. Living in residence halls allows you to meet fellow Silverswords, make lifelong friends and live in a place where you are supported.
Health, Wellness and Safety
College is all about nurturing your mind, body and soul. Staying healthy will help you succeed in the classroom. And if you ever find yourself struggling, know that you’re not alone at Chaminade University—we’re here to support you.
