Basic needs are the essential resources required for individuals to survive and thrive—such as food, housing, clothing, safety, financial stability, and overall wellness. Basic needs security is a key social determinant of health; without it, college students may struggle academically, face limited social mobility, and experience deepening inequities. To support Chaminade University students, this page offers information and links to on-campus and local community resources that help meet these critical needs.
