Campus Security

Chaminade University of Honolulu is dedicated to providing students, faculty, staff, and visitors with a safe and secure campus environment. Our team, led by the Director of Campus Safety (a full-time university employee), trains constantly and maintains a close working relationship with local law enforcement and community leaders. Chaminade partners with Allied Universal Security Services to provide guard services 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Our security officers are licensed by the State of Hawaii Security Guard program and consistently exceed the minimum training requirements of the program. Our Campus Safety Team has jurisdiction over the campus and enforces local, state, and federal laws, as well as university rules & regulations.

The Security Team regularly patrols our four campus residence halls and works closely with the staff in the Office of Housing & Residence Life to ensure the safety & security of all residents.

CAMPUS HAZING TRANSPARENCY REPORT

In accordance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act and section 485(f) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, Chaminade University of Honolulu publishes a report of any student organization that has been found responsible for hazing.

The Campus Hazing Transparency Report includes, if known, the name of the organization, athletic team, academic program or housing community, the dates of the hazing behavior, investigation, and adjudication timeline, as well as a description of the findings. Any reports of hazing that did not result in a finding of responsibility are not included. Chaminade University of Honolulu will update this page as outcomes are finalized, and, if no outcomes are identified, twice a year.
