Biography
Dr. Sean W. Scanlan is an Associate Professor and is the Director of the Hawai‘i School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Dr. Scanlan earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and is licensed as a clinical psychologist in the State of Hawai‘i. Dr. Scanlan has held several psychology-related administrative positions since 2000 and has served as the program’s director since 2014. His interests are in child and adolescent psychopathology, assessment, and treatment. For over 25 years, Dr. Scanlan has worked with hundreds of Hawai‘i’s children, adolescents, and young adults as a therapist, behavioral consultant, parent trainer, treatment program director, teacher, and coach. He specializes in and has given multiple trainings and presentations in ASD, ADHD, and other externalizing disorders in children and adolescents.
