Associate Degree to BS Criminology and Criminal Justice Pathway

Earn your Associate degree (AS or AA) from Maui Community College or Hawaii Community College and transfer to Chaminade University to earn your Criminology and Criminal Justice degree—your General Education/Core Curriculum will be waived.

Admission Requirements
  • Associate’s degree (AA or AS) from Maui Community College or Hawaii Community College
  • As part of the associate’s degree, students should take the following courses, completed with a C or better:
    • AJ 101 Introduction to Administration of Justice
    • AJ 103 Criminal Investigation
    • AJ 210 Juvenile Justice OR SOC 231 Intro to Juvenile Delinquency
    • AJ 221 Criminal Law
Two-Year Criminology and Criminal Justice Degree (to be completed at Chaminade University)
