BS Criminology & Criminal Justice Pathway

Earn your associate’s degree from one of our partner institutions and transfer to Chaminade University to complete your bachelor’s degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice—your General Education/Core Curriculum requirements will be waived.

Admission Requirements

  • Completed Chaminade application
  • Official high school transcript (if applicable)
  • Official college transcript(s) from all post-secondary, accredited institution(s) attended
  • Associate’s degree from Hawai’i Community College or Maui Community College
  • As part of your associate’s degree, you must have completed with a C or better in the following courses:
  • AJ 101 Introduction to Administration of Justice
  • AJ 103 Criminal Investigation
  • AJ 210 Juvenile Justice OR SOC 231 Intro to Juvenile Delinquency
  • AJ 233 Police Organization & Management
  • Completed Chaminade application
  • Official high school transcript (if applicable)
  • Official college transcript(s) from all post-secondary, accredited institution(s) attended
  • Associate’s degree from Kapi’olani Community College
  • As part of your associate’s degree, you must have completed with a C or better in the following courses:
  • LAW 101 The Hawaii Legal System
  • LAW 176 Criminal Law
  • LAW 202 Legal Interviewing, Negotiating, and Advocacy
  • SOCS 225 Statistical Analysis for Social Sciences
  • SSCI 200 Social Science Research Methods
