School psychologists play a critical role in the education community, providing vital counseling, assessment and intervention services aimed at helping students succeed in their academic journeys so they can contribute to a healthy and engaging learning environment.

The Ed.S. in School Psychology at Chaminade offers an innovative and real-world curriculum that focuses on preparing you to meet the holistic needs of PK-12 students.

This program has Fall start dates every other year, with the next cohort starting in October 2027.

The EdS in School Psychology program is designed to fit your schedule and life responsibilities, combines academic rigor with clinical practice, allowing you to apply what you learn in real-world settings. Program Details

Upon completion of the EdS in School Psychology, students will be able to:

  1. Administer psychological and educational assessments and effectively communicate the results to a variety of audiences.
  2. Provide an innovative, research-based, and real-world curriculum that focuses on preparing individuals to meet the holistic needs of PK-12 students.
  3. Evaluate scientific knowledge and research regarding the provision of psychological and educational interventions and strategies, prevention approaches, wellness approaches, and the use of assessments.
  4. Synthesize the value of adaptation and change with applied 21st-century leadership, supervision, and consultation knowledge and skills for diverse and complex organizational systems.
