Bro. Brandon entered the Society of Mary in 2006. After graduating from Chaminade University, he remained on campus serving as a campus minister before entering the Marianists. He has served as Campus Minister at both St. Mary’s University and the University of Dayton. His hometown is Aiea, Hawaii.

Fr. Roland Bunda graduated from Saint Louis School in 1960. He made his first vows as a Marianist brother in 1962. He was campus minister and Principal at St. Louis from 1979 until 1988. Between 1988 and 2022, he served in various ministries, including Chaplain at UC Santa Cruz and, for 14 years, Pastor of St. Anthony Parish in Wailuku, Maui. After 34 years, he returned to Kalaepohaku in August of 2022 and is providing priestly ministry and sacramental preparation at Saint Louis School, Chaminade University, and at Mystical Rose Oratory. He celebrated his 60th Jubilee on August 15, 2022.

Bro. John entered the Society of Mary in 1958. After graduating from the University of Dayton, he served as President of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood, Florida, where he also taught math, religion, psychology, and biology and coached track and cross-country. Bro. John serves on Marianist Province committees and is a trustee of Chaminade College Preparatory School in California. His hometown is Brooklyn, New York.

Bro. Leno entered the Society of Mary in 2017. A native of San Diego, California, he earned a degree in world language education in French and Spanish, along with a TESOL certificate, from the University of Dayton. He supported the Multi‑Ethnic Education and Engagement Center programming at Dayton, interned in Community Engagement at St. Mary’s University (Texas), and taught Religion, French, and Spanish at several Marianist schools across the U.S. His ministry now focuses on faith formation and student support at Saint Louis School and Chaminade University.

Bro. Tom entered the Society of Mary in 1967. After graduating from Chaminade University in 1971, he served in various capacities at Saint Louis School, including Director of Campus Ministry. He also worked as a librarian at Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco from 1992 to 2011. Brother Tom enjoys attending both St. Louis and Chaminade athletic events and is a family historian/genealogist. His hometown is Long Beach, California.

Bro. Kiama entered the Society of Mary in 1991. He served in the Office of Temporalities of the Marianist Region of Eastern Africa Administration and carried out social development projects for youth in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya; and Davao, Philippines. Starting in 2012, Bro. Peter worked on parish projects for the St. Francis de Sales community in Cincinnati, Ohio. His hometown is Mukui, Kenya.

Bro. Robert entered the Society of Mary in 1962. A California native raised in Japan during World War II, he attended a Marianist school in Yokohama. After earning a college degree in the U.S., he taught at Marianist high schools in California and at his alma mater in Japan. Before coming to Chaminade in 1998, Bro. Robert spent 17 years with the University of Dayton’s computer science department. His hometown is Los Angeles, California.

Bro. Gary entered the Society of Mary in 1965. After graduating from San Francisco State and the University of Dayton, he taught drama, English and speech at high schools in Hawaii and California. He wrote and staged a rock opera that toured Australia, and wrote and staged a pageant for San Francisco’s bicentennial celebration. Bro. Gary taught theater and directed theater productions for 17 years at Chaminade University. His hometown is San Francisco, California.

Bro. Allen entered the Society of Mary in 2012. He earned a graduate degree in Pastoral Ministry from Santa Clara University. Before entering the Society of Mary, he served as Pastoral Associate at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa, Honolulu, Hawai’i. He later served as Associate Director of Community Engagement at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and held several leadership roles at Chaminade University, including Campus Minister, Director of Campus Ministry, and Director of Advising for the Education Division. Bro. Allen is a native of Kalihi Kai, Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Bro. Dennis entered the Society of Mary in 1967. He taught English and worked in campus ministry for ten years at Marianist high schools in California. He also served for 12 years in Korean missions, primarily in houses of formation. Bro. Dennis is engaged in special ministries with the Marianist Center of Hawaii, and has assisted with the bi-annual Marianist Lecture Series. He is also involved with the Faith of Heart Marianist Lay Community and the Pu’a Foundation. His hometown is Los Angeles, California.

Fr. Marty entered the Society of Mary in 1966 and was ordained in 1978. He holds English and philosophy degrees from the University of Dayton, a master of education degree from Boston College, and a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Toronto St. Michael’s College. He served for 28 years in Kenya, including as Superior for the Marianist District of Eastern Africa. In 2010, he became Provincial for the Marianist Province of the U.S. His hometown is Cleveland, Ohio.

Bro. Robert (Bob) Metzger is a Dayton, Ohio native and a 1967 graduate of Chaminade High School in Dayton. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio in 1981 and his Ohio CPA designation in 1984. In the Society of Mary, he served as business manager of Bergamo Center; assistant treasurer and treasurer of the Marianist Province of Cincinnati; and director of finance for the Marianist Province of the United States. He has spent most of his first 40 years of Marianist ministry in finance and accounting work for the provinces. From 2008-2018, Bro. Bob worked with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington, D.C. as associate director for planning and education for the National Religious Retirement Office. He also served on the University of Dayton’s board from 1999 to 2008 and was reinstated as a board member again in 2025. Since 2019, he has served as the Director of Finance for the Marianist Province of the United States, located in St. Louis, Missouri, and began a five-year term as the Assistant for Temporalities / Treasurer for the province on July 1, 2026.

Bro. Edward entered the Society of Mary in 1982. He holds a bachelor’s in financial management from St. Mary’s University, a master’s in administration from the University of Notre Dame, and a doctorate in social policy and administration from the London School of Economics. He served as General Counsel of the Marianists in Rome before joining Our Lady of the Lake College in 2015 as Provost. Before he was elected Provincial, Brother Edward was the Vice President/Executive Director of the Marianist Center of Hawai’i. His hometown is Agana, Guam.
