Bro. Ed entered the Society of Mary in 1985. The University of Dayton graduate served as a teacher, minister and administrator at Chaminade-Julienne High School. In 1998, he became director of a teacher service program at Dayton then led the Center for Catholic Education from 2005-2007. From 2007 to 2015, he served as Assistant for Education for the Province and as a Regent for Chaminade University. His hometown is Endwell, New York.

Bro. John entered the Society of Mary in 1958. After graduating from the University of Dayton, he served as President of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood, Florida, where he also taught math, religion, psychology and biology and coached track and cross-country programs. Bro. John serves on Marianist Province committees and is a trustee of Chaminade College Preparatory School in California. His hometown is Brooklyn, New York.

Bro. Frank entered the Society of Mary in 1956. After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton, he taught at Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He later earned a doctorate degree in astrophysics from The Ohio State University. Bro. Frank spent 20 years in Africa serving as an instructor at Kenyatta University in Nairobi and as Regional Superior for the Marianist missions in Eastern Africa. His hometown is Detroit, Michigan.

Bro. Jose entered the Society of Mary in 1957. After graduating from Saint Anthony School in Wailuku on Maui, he earned a history degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu and taught at various Hawaii high schools, including Saint Louis School. As an archivist in the records office at Chaminade, Bro. Jose updates and stores academic transcripts. His hometown is Paia, Hawaii.

Fr. Allen entered the Society of Mary in 1953 and was ordained in 1977. He was a teacher and administrator at California high schools and pioneered the KAIROS retreat program among Marianist schools. He was a vocation minister and director of the Marianist retreat in Cupertino, and served as headmaster of Saint Louis School from 2000 to 2006. He recently spent more than four years working in the African missions. His hometown is San Gabriel, California.

Bro. Kiama entered the Society of Mary in 1991. He served in the Office of Temporalities of the Marianist Region of Eastern Africa Administration and carried out social development projects for youth in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya; and Davao, Philippines. Starting in 2012, Bro. Peter worked on parish projects for the St. Francis de Sales community in Cincinnati, Ohio. His hometown is Mukui, Kenya.

Bro. Robert entered the Society of Mary in 1962. A California native raised in Japan during World War II, he attended a Marianist school in Yokohama. After earning a college degree in the U.S., he taught at Marianist high schools in California and at his alma mater in Japan. Before coming to Chaminade in 1998, Bro. Robert spent 17 years with the University of Dayton’s computer science department. His hometown is Los Angeles, California.

Fr. Patrick entered the Society of Mary in 1996 and was ordained in 2008. He majored in political science and history at the University of Dayton, where he later earned a master’s in Educational Administration. His seminary education occurred at Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He also served as a teacher, campus minister, administrator and coach at Ohio, California and Texas high schools. His hometown is Adrian, Michigan.

Bro. Gary entered the Society of Mary in 1965. After graduating from San Francisco State and the University of Dayton, he taught drama, English and speech at high schools in Hawaii and California. He wrote and staged a rock opera that toured Australia, and wrote and staged a pageant for San Francisco’s bicentennial celebration. Bro. Gary taught theater and directed theater productions for 17 years at Chaminade University. His hometown is San Francisco, California.

Bro. Dennis entered the Society of Mary in 1967. He taught English and worked in campus ministry for ten years at Marianist high schools in California. He also served for 12 years in Korean missions, primarily in houses of formation. Bro. Dennis is engaged in special ministries with the Marianist Center of Hawaii. He organizes and presents the twice-annual Father Mackey Marianist Lecture Series. His hometown is Los Angeles, California.

He holds English and philosophy degrees from the University of Dayton, a master of education degree from Boston College and a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Toronto St. Michael’s College. He served for 28 years in Kenya, including as Superior for the Marianist District of East Africa. Members of the Marianist Educational Associates community are dedicated to strengthening the Catholic and Marianist mission of Chaminade University.
