Dr. Babington’s contributions to higher education, teaching and the healthcare arena are substantial. A lifelong advocate of teaching and learning with a breadth of experience in academic, hospital, clinical and private sector settings, Babington is highly regarded for her work and regularly called upon for her expertise.
Her leadership roles at Fairfield University, most recently as Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, as well as Northeastern University, speak to Babington’s dedication to improving outcomes in higher education. Babington’s contributions to the nation’s health care environment extend far beyond the institutions she has served. Prior to her position at Fairfield, Babington studied as a Fulbright Scholar at Ben Gurion University in Israel. Babington’s successful career in healthcare, impressive record of external support, numerous teaching awards and advisory positions are testaments to the impact she has made.
