Congratulations on your acceptance to Chaminade University of Honolulu! As a newly accepted Silversword, we want to help you on your journey to Chaminade. Follow the checklist below and view upcoming accepted events to get you started.
WHAT TO DO NOW:
1- Say “YES” to your offer of admission
Submit your $150 enrollment deposit and secure your spot for the upcoming class.
2 – Create a Chaminade Self-Service account and email
After you deposit, check your email for your ID number and password instructions, then visit Self-Service and Student Gmail to set up your account.
3 – Review your financial aid award via Self-Service

4 – Attend a Chaminade accepted event
Get to know Chaminade and your new home by signing up for a campus tour, attending Admitted Student Weekend, or connecting with an admissions counselor through Coffee & Conversation.
5 – Get Silversword gear
Represent Chaminade by purchasing Silversword gear. Purchase one logo item for 10% off using the discount code: WELCOME23
6 – Connect with a current student
Use our chat feature to hear a student’s perspective of life on and around campus.
7 – Join the New Student Group Chat
Use the GroupMe link to meet other new students entering for the Fall 2023 term!
SUMMER TO-DO-LIST
JUNE
Living on campus is not required; however, the full campus experience can be best complemented by residing in student housing.
Commuting to campus? Learn about transportation options, costs to park on-campus, or how to get a reduced bus pass, the U-PASS.
- High school transcripts, college transcripts, Advanced Placement [AP] and/or International Baccalaureate [IB] exam scores
- Transfer students will receive an official credit evaluation once an enrollment deposit and final official transcript(s) is received by the Office of Admissions
- Definition of official – Sent directly from school, registrar, counselor, or agency.
- Definition of unofficial – sent from student

- Your academic advisor will contact you once they register you for your classes.
- For the best placement into your classes, submit your final admissions documents prior to meeting with your advisor
JULY
For fall semester enrollment, your first bill will be emailed to you after July 1. You will also be able to view your account and financial aid award information in Student Self-Service. Check your student email for important reminders.
Ways to pay for tuition:
- Payment in full of net amount due (Online, Check, or payment in person)
- Enrollment in a tuition payment plan (See Monthly Tuition Payment Plan details below)
- Financial aid awards and/or loans
- Military Education Benefits (including Tuition Assistance or VA Benefits)
- Tuition waivers
- Third-party payment
Monthly Tuition Payment Plan
If you elect to pay tuition in monthly increments, you may enroll in a tuition payment plan via Student Self-Service. The Day Undergraduate Tuition Payment Plan allows you to pay for the current semester using four (4) monthly installments. There is an enrollment fee of $55 per term, but no monthly finance charges. Open enrollment for the fall semester tuition payment plan begins July 1st.

- Review State of HI & CUH health clearance requirements carefully.
- Health forms are due prior to the start of the academic year
- Students living in residence halls, international students, and intercollegiate athletes are required to submit documentation of their health insurance coverage
Meet with faculty, connect with new Silverswords and learn about the many resources, services and opportunities available to you, making your transition to Chaminade as smooth as possible. All new first-year, transfer and exchange students are expected to attend New Student Orientation (NSO).

See what it’s like to be a student at Chaminade! Join us for the day where you’ll sit in on a class, eat in our Silversword Café, meet a faculty member in your desired field, and go on a campus tour.
Day-of schedules will be unique to each student and will be sent out prior to your Shadow a Silversword day.

MYSTICAL ROSE ORATORY MASS

Attend mass at Chaminade’s Mystical Rose Oratory (MRO). We welcome those of all faiths to celebrate our Sunday Eucharist at the Mystical Rose located on our beautiful hillside campus. Our hour-long mass will follow with light refreshment, coffee, and fellowship.
