1. Is there a rental fee?
No, there is no rental fee to use the equipment.
2. Where can I take the equipment?
Most rented equipment can be taken off-campus. Please visit the Office of Student Engagement for the list of items that may not leave the campus.
3. When can I pick up and/or return rented equipment?
Equipment can be picked up and/or returned to our office in Clarence T.C. Ching Hall in Room 106 during our operating hours.
4. What if the rented equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged?
Borrowers are responsible for the full retail value of any lost, stolen, or damaged item. Borrowers are responsible for inspecting the equipment prior to check-out and are responsible for any damage or malfunction of the equipment not previously reported.
5. What if the rented equipment is returned late?
Due to limited quantity and high-demand, equipment returned late may incur a late fee as outlined below:
- Camping Tents, Portable Speakers – $10 per day
- Coolers, Volleyball Nets, Snorkeling Fins, Snorkeling Masks, and Sports Equipment- $5 per day
- All other items – $1 per day
Failure to pay all incurred charges within three (3) business days shall be reported to the Business Office to be charged to the Borrower’s campus account.
