HIGHER EDUCATION EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (HEERF) STUDENT PORTION QUARTERLY REPORT

In compliance with section 314(e) of the ARP, the following information is posted on the Chaminade University public website:
- Chaminade University has signed and returned to the U.S. Department of Education (Department) the Certification and Agreement and assures that it has used, and intends to use, the $2,382,941 awarded under the ARP to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.
- Chaminade University was awarded $2,382,941 from the Department on May 18, 2021 pursuant to its Supplemental Grant Funds for Students Agreement under the ARP program.
- The total amount of emergency financial aid grants to students distributed under the ARP program was $2,381,042 as of December 31, 2021. Disbursements were made from October to November 2021.
- Approximately 1,788 Chaminade University students were eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and were thus eligible to receive emergency financial aid grants to students under the ARP program.
- 1,788 students received an emergency financial aid grant under the ARP program in this quarter.
- Chaminade University made awards to students who were registered in the Fall 2021 semester. The awards were given to students based on several factors: full-time status, undergraduate/graduate status, residential/commuter status, and eligible student applications for aid. Student awards ranged from $900 to $2,250, based on these criteria. The awards were transferred via direct deposit to the student’s bank account or via check where banking information was not available. In some cases, with student approval, the award amounts were credited to the student’s school account to offset outstanding balances.
- Students were informed of the University’s plans to distribute the emergency financial aid grants via emails to their Chaminade student email addresses.

- Chaminade University has signed and returned to the U.S. Department of Education (Department) the Certification and Agreement and assures that it has used, and intends to use, the $2,382,941 awarded under the ARP to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.
- Chaminade University was awarded $2,382,941 from the Department on May 18, 2021 pursuant to its Supplemental Grant Funds for Students Agreement under the ARP program.
- The total amount of emergency financial aid grants to students distributed under the ARP program was $1,000 as of September 30, 2021. Disbursement was made on September 9, 2021.
- Approximately 1,577 Chaminade University students are eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and are thus eligible to receive emergency financial aid grants to students under the ARP program.
- One (1) student received an emergency financial aid grant under the ARP program in this quarter.
- Chaminade University made this award after the student applied for an emergency financial aid grant because of his/her dire financial situation and after careful consideration by the Dean of Students.
- Because the ARP funds were awarded on May 18, 2021, at the end of the Spring 2021 term, the University plans to notify students of the availability of additional emergency financial aid grants during the Fall 2021 term.

- Chaminade University was awarded $2,382,941 from the Department on May 18, 2021 pursuant to its Supplemental Grant Funds for Students Agreement under the ARP program.
- The total amount of emergency financial aid grants to students distributed under the ARP program is $899 as of June 30, 2021. Disbursement was made on June 23, 2021.

CRRSAA ACT EMERGENCY AID GRANTS TO STUDENTS
HIGHER EDUCATION EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (HEERF II)
April 10, 2021
In compliance with section 314(e) of the CRRSAA Act, the following information is posted on the Chaminade University public website:
- Institutions who received HEERF I Grant funds were not required to submit an application for the HEERF II Grant. Chaminade University received its HEERF II Grant award notification on 01/19/2021. In keeping with the terms of acceptance of these funds, over $741,400 of the funds received under Section 314(1)(a) of the CRRSAA Act, has been used to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants directly to students.
- Chaminade University has received $741,400 pursuant to the institution’s Funding Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CRRSAA Act and $1,912,500 pursuant to the institution’s Funding Certification and Agreement for the Institutional Portion of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Formula Grants Authorized by Section 314(1)(a) of the CRRSAA Act.
- The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 314(1)(a) of the CRRSAA Act is $742,850 as of March 31, 2021. Disbursements were made from February 24, 2021 to March 31, 2021.
- Approximately 1,577 Chaminade University students are eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 314(1)(a) of the CRRSAA Act.
- 1,577 students have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant under section 314(1)(a) of the CRRSAA Act.
- Chaminade University made awards to all students who were registered in the Spring 2021 semester. The awards were given to students based on several factors: full time status; undergraduate/graduate status; residential/commuter status; and eligible student applications for aid. Student awards ranged from $150 – $1,750, based on these criteria. The grants were transferred via direct deposit to the student’s bank account or via check where banking information was not available.
- Students were apprised of the University’s plans to distribute the Emergency Financial Aid Grants via emails to their Chaminade student email addresses.

In compliance with Section 18004(e) of the CARES Act and in accordance with U.S. Department of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education memo dated May 6, 2020, the following information is posted on the Chaminade University public website:
- Chaminade University of Honolulu has signed and returned to the U.S. Department of Education, the Funding Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CARES Act. No less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) has been used to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
- The University has received $741,400 pursuant to the institution’s Funding Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CARES Act and $741,400 pursuant to the institution’s Funding Certification and Agreement for the Institutional Portion of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Formula Grants Authorized by Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
- As of August 17, 2020, the total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) was $1,239,900.

- Chaminade University of Honolulu signed and returned to the Department of Education, the Certification and Agreement to receive funding under Section 18004(a)(1) of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”). No less than 50% of the funds received under this code section has been used to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
- The University has received $1,482,800 pursuant to the institution’s Certification and agreement for Emergency Grants to Students.
