I have been a registered nurse since 2010 with majority of my bedside nursing spent in procedural units such as the operating room, recovery room, and interventional radiology. I recently spent 2 years in Labor and Delivery and enjoy the unique and diverse experiences the nursing career provides. I received my Masters degree in 2017 that allowed me to continue to pursue teaching the next generation of nurses. I have taught courses such as Maternal-Newborn, Mental Health, Med-Surg, and been able to assist in clinical preceptorships and lab skills sessions. I believe that each student is unique with their own set of strengths. Nursing can be unique to each person and I encourage individuals to find their passions and pursue those careers. You can do SO many things in nursing! I enjoy supporting students, coaching, and working with NCLEX prep. In my spare time you can find me at the beach, with my two french bulldogs Koa and Tater, or listening to live music. I look forward to working together to pursue your passions and build a strong, safe, and satisfying healthcare community.
