On Saturday, January 20, 2018, Chaminade University officially installed Dr. Lynn M. Babington as its tenth president. The inauguration events included an academic installation, mass and pa`ina (Hawaiian feast).
In her inaugural address, Dr. Babington reflected on the university’s great history, and staying true to our Catholic Marianist values and mission, her vision is to pursue solutions where education isn’t just about learning, but about social justice, building a community and preparing tomorrow’s leaders to create a more just and peaceful society. Dr. Babington aims to propel Chaminade University forward and position it as a leader in Hawaii and beyond.
