Darci Pappano has taught Interior Design for over 20 years. She has extensive experience teaching design studios focused on Design Foundations, Hospitality, Retail, Spa + Wellness, Workplace, Cruise Ship + Yacht interiors as well as Graphic Design, Color Theory, and Materials for Interior Design.
Darci was the Director of the FIU Cruise Ship and Superyacht Program, a curriculum specializing in interior design for the maritime industry based in Italy. She was also a founding Director of the FIU+Bauhaus Workshop study abroad program which brought over 100 students to study design at the historic Bauhaus campus in Germany.
Darci employs exploratory exercises to encourage her students to embrace their own unique ways of seeing and developing design solutions. Her teaching is focused on research, rigorous programming, wayfinding, and material studies, with intensive graphic presentation design standards.
