Our Sport and Event Management program takes an interdisciplinary approach to building your foundation of knowledge, with courses in sports business administration, sports psychology, sustainability, law, ethics, communication and more.

We’re proud to say our faculty members are all leaders in their field, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship in Hawaii and the Pacific. With their support, you’ll connect with local venues to apply what you’ve learned and see why sport and event management can be a powerful “business for good.”

  1. Students will be able to explain the breadth and depth of the business of sport and its impact on society.
  2. Students will be able to analyze sport enterprises and evaluate financial viability and sustainability.
  3. Students will be able to solve problems in sport management relative to specific areas of academic and career interest.
  4. Students will be able to prepare and execute major event plans.
