Environmental Science

Transfer Pathways provides you with the opportunity to complete your associate’s degree from the University of Hawaii Community College (UHCC) system, then transfer to Chaminade University and continue your studies to earn your bachelor’s degree. The pathway makes the transfer process easier—you’ll enter Chaminade University with a junior-year status and all courses in the Transfer Pathway associate degree will directly transfer and be applied toward your bachelor’s degree requirements.

Admission Requirements

• AS Natural Sciences degree from UH Community College system
• As part of the AS Natural Science degree, students should take the following courses, completed with a C or better:
  • Math 241 Calculus I
  • Math 242 Calculus II
  • CHEM 161/L General Chemistry I with Lab
  • CHEM 162/L General Chemistry II with Lab
  • CHEM 272/L Organic Chemistry I with Lab
  • CHEM 273/L Organic Chemistry II with Lab
  • BIO 171 Introduction to Biology I with Lab
  • BIO 172 Introduction to Biology II with Lab

Two-Year Biochemistry Degree (to be completed at Chaminade University)
