Psychology is about more than understanding the mind—it’s about understanding people and using that knowledge to make a difference. At Chaminade, you’ll take a whole-person approach to psychology while exploring counseling theory, applied psychology, cross-cultural psychology and research methods.
With individualized faculty mentorship, multicultural learning and hands-on service opportunities, you’ll gain the knowledge, perspective and skills to connect with people and make an impact. And your possibilities don’t stop at graduation. Prepare for advanced study in psychology and counseling, or take your psychology degree into fields like healthcare, education, business, government, law and beyond.
4+2 MS in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) Pathway
The 4+2 MSCP Pathway gives Chaminade undergraduate students a streamlined route from a bachelor’s degree to a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. If admitted, you can earn graduate credits while completing your undergraduate degree, then transition directly into the MSCP program after graduation. Complete your MSCP in just two years instead of the usual two and a half—and take the next step toward your career in counseling psychology.
Faculty & Staff
Your professors are leaders in their fields. They believe in the power of personal experience—stressing mentorship, collaboration and project-based learning inside and outside the classroom.
