Our Business Administration major combines a strong business foundation with hands-on experiences that put you in the middle of the action. You’ll work through real-world cases, gain experience through internships and community projects, connect with professionals and use what you learn to solve real problems.

Build expertise across marketing, finance, accounting, operations and strategic management while developing the communication, critical-thinking and leadership skills that set you apart. And with service-learning woven into your education, you’ll learn that great business leaders don’t just drive results—they create value for their organizations and their communities.

Upon completion of the B.A. undergraduate program in Business Administration, students will be able to:

  1. Identify opportunities to incorporate purpose-driven, Marianist values and ethics into business decision-making practices.
  2. Demonstrate effective business communication skills.
  3. Leverage advanced technologies—including business software, quantitative methods, and/or computational modeling tools—to support effective, data-driven business decisions.
  4. Evaluate how global dynamics and cross-cultural differences influence the development and execution of business practices.
  5. Develop sound business strategies that are informed by evidence and integrated knowledge from foundational business disciplines.

Upon completion of the Education Minor, students will be able to:

  1. Identify the functional areas of business and the major tasks associated with each.

  4. Use business skills to promote service, justice, and peace within community organizations.
