Palliative Care (Minor)
At Chaminade University, we believe in caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Our Palliative Care Minor is designed for students in all fields who want to deepen their understanding of compassionate care for individuals and families facing serious or life-limiting illness.
Through interdisciplinary coursework and hands-on learning, you’ll explore topics such as pain management, communication at the end of life, cultural and spiritual perspectives on care, and ethical decision-making.
Whether you’re preparing for a career in healthcare, social work, psychology, ministry, or another helping profession, this minor equips you with the skills and heart to support people with dignity and respect during some of life’s most challenging moments.
