Biography
Dr. Hoffmeyer is an Associate Professor and one of the founding faculty for Chaminade University School of Nursing and Health Professions. Her specializations include medical-surgical nursing, curriculum development and evaluation, and nursing education. She has a variety of clinical experiences including long term care, emergency, orthopedics, medical/surgical, and urgent care. Tiffanie has been teaching nursing at Chaminade University since the nursing program’s inception. She teaches didactic, clinical, lab, and simulation and has had over 100 hours of simulation training. Her research focus is on developing clinical reasoning skills in undergraduate nursing students by using best teaching practices to help students learn to think like a nurse.
