Kate is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of experience in the field of nursing. She started her career as a Registered Nurse (RN), spending the majority of her RN career caring for cardiovascular patients before returning to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, Kate has been serving as nursing faculty since 2015 (working at a variety of institutions to include George Mason University and The George Washington University). In her quest to best serve her patients and students, she returned to school to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice from The George Washington University.
