Our world is facing major environmental threats. Climate change. Disappearing ecosystems. Species extinction. The Certificate in Environmental Studies is designed to prepare environmental champions for the challenges ahead, stressing an interdisciplinary and hands-on approach to learning, and offering students instruction in everything from environmental policy and law to conservation biology to nature writing.

The degree, open to students across a variety of majors, also features opportunities for research and academic development. And it takes advantage of Chaminade’s location in the middle of the Pacific, a region rich with unique environmental case studies.
