International Studies (Minor)

The International Studies minor offers a strong foundation for understanding not only the past and present of global economics, but how economic systems impact all of our lives. Students take on some of the most current headline issues as they consider everything from globalization to international law.

Upon completion of the International Studies minor, students will be able to:

Evaluate opportunities and risks for international activities in overseas markets.
Apply knowledge of the cultural and social issues in a business situation to recommend courses of actions that adjust and respond to cross-cultural differences.
Synthesize and integrate important concepts, principles and theories used in management into solutions to moderately complex management problems.
