Entrepreneurship (Minor)

This minor is offered to Business Administration or Accounting majors only.

Entrepreneurs don’t just run businesses, they change how business is done.

Chaminade’s Entrepreneurship minor prepares you to serve as a leader for the 21st century, ready to drive transformation, launch that next best thing, and convince the community you’ve got what it takes to lead a change revolution.

You’ll will learn how to analyze entrepreneurial opportunities, work with peers and community partners to design entrepreneurial projects and develop a persuasive pitch for a new idea or product.

Upon completion of the Entrepreneurship minor, still will be able to:

  1. Analyze and appraise entrepreneurial opportunities.
  2. Design and defend entrepreneurial project plans in an area of career interest.
  3. Develop a persuasive presentation pitch for a new product, idea, system or service.

Pre-Minor Requirements

  • BUS 200 Introduction to Business

Minor Requirements

  • ENT 301 Entrepreneurship
  • ENT 302 Hogan Colloquium
  • BU 470 Senior Field Experience
  • 300-level elective that aligns with student entrepreneurial interest
