People, Planet and Prosperity for a Sustainable Future Conference 2023
June 11–June 13, 2023
Chaminade University
The People, Planet and Prosperity for a Sustainable Future Conference brings discipline-focused academic and intellectual thought to bear on the systemic issues and challenges faced in the creation of a flourishing, health and sustainable future for our societies. Although all geographic interests and country representatives are welcome; there is a special focus on the Pacific Rim.
Conference leaders welcome abstracts and proposals leading to meaningful research and constructive discussion on issues leading to the continued development of prosperous, healthy societies and sustainable environments.
People, Planet and Prosperity for a Sustainable Future Conference is co-sponsored by Chaminade University’s United Nations-affiliated CIFAL Honolulu Centre, Marianist Sponsorship Ministry Foundation, Economic Educational Center for Excellence and academic schools.

Mission of Sustainability
Because Chaminade University’s CIFAL Honolulu Centre is part of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, the Conference solicits research and intellectual thought on issues relating to the UN’s seventeen Sustainable Development Goals relating to issues such as poverty, hunger, well being, education, gender equality, clean water, affordable clean energy, economic growth, industry and innovation, inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible consumption and sustainable oceans.
