Joseph Lynn was born in the Northwest Suburbs of Illinois. He graduated from Hoffman Estates High School in 2011 and attended William Rainier Harper College for his first two years of college. In the Fall of 2013, he transferred to Chaminade University of Honolulu as a recipient of the Transfer Scholarship.
Excelling in his academics, Joseph was recommended by his science professors to be a tutor for Anatomy and Physiology at Chaminade’s Academic Achievement Program. In Spring of 2016, he was the recipient of the Distinguished Tutor of the Year. In addition to his course work, Joseph also balanced his part-time job as support staff at Macy’s Department Store in Kailua. Off campus, he volunteered at Kaimuki Care, a physical therapy clinic dedicated to the rehabilitation of Hawaii’s injured.
In Spring of 2016, Joseph graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. He will begin his studies at South College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in June 2016. Joseph credits Chaminade for providing him the funding support to attend conferences and interviews for professional schools. After earning his degree in physical therapy, Joseph aspires to serve in a rural community in the Southern or Western parts of the United States.
