Cierra Gauvin

Cierra Gauvin OHPAUR

Born and raised on Oahu, Ms. Cierra Gauvin graduated from Saint Francis School in 2009. Ms. Gauvin is of Hispanic, Native American, and Filipino descent and is the first in her family to attend college.

Ms. Gauvin majored in Biochemistry and graduated from Chaminade University, cum laude, with her Bachelor’s of Science degree in May 2014. While at Chaminade, Ms. Gauvin was inducted into two honor societies, Delta Epsilon Iota (Academic Honors Society) and Gamma Sigma Epsilon (Chemistry Honors Society). Ms. Gauvin was also recognized by the American Chemistry Society in 2011 and 2012, as Outstanding Organic Chemistry Student and Outstanding Biochemistry Student, respectively. In 2012, Ms. Gauvin was selected to participate in the Materials Research Science and Engineering Summer Program at New York University. Along with excellent academics, Ms. Gauvin has also been highly engaged with her faith. She served as parish security during her five years at Chaminade and was the recipient of the Parish Scholarship for students that show involvement in the community service and the church.

In the Fall of 2014, Ms. Gauvin begins her studies at the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. It is her hope that upon completion of her Doctor of Pharmacy degree that she will be able to practice in Hawaii.
