Biography
Dr. Rosado joined the Chaminade School of Nursing and Health Professions in 2013. She teaches the senior level complex care and the NCLEX Seminar courses. Julieta is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and licensed by the State of Hawaii to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Julieta has had a varied career in nursing. She has extensive experience in program evaluation. Julieta served in the Army Nurse Corps, where she had the opportunity to practice nursing in a variety of settings in the U.S., Korea and in Europe. She was honorably discharged at the rank of Major from active service. Julieta has practiced as a family nurse practitioner in an urgent care clinic; she has also worked in a variety of critical care and burn centers in the continental U.S. as a travel nurse. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the effects of cinnamon on blood glucose and lipid levels in persons diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. Julieta enjoys traveling and is fluent in Spanish.
