You and your family are invited to join the Silversword ‘ohana for Admitted Student Day to celebrate your acceptance to Chaminade University. Enjoy an exciting day of exploration and learn the next steps to becoming a Chaminade University student.

  • Meet your future dean and faculty members of your focused area of study
  • Meet future classmates and current Silverswords
  • Tour our beautiful Kalaepōhaku campus
  • Attend the Resource Fair to learn about life as a Silversword (student clubs and organizations, academic resources, career development opportunities, student support services and more)
  • Review your financial aid award with a financial aid counselor
  • Visit our Celebration Room and reserve your spot for 2025!

Parking will be available in our Parking Structure. Please follow the Admissions Event and Parking signs upon your arrival to campus.

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Financial Aid Appointments (Kokua Ike Learning Center)

  • Do you need help navigating your financial aid award letter? Meet with our Financial Aid Team to get ready for the Fall!

10:00 AM | Welcome Remarks (Clarence T.C Ching Conference Center, Eiben Hall)

  • Join us for the welcoming remarks from our University President, Dr. Lynn Babington.

11:00 AM | Academic Open House (Various Locations)

  • Learn about our academic programs and meet with deans, faculty members, and current students in your academic school
  • School of Business and Communication (Kieffer Hall, Room 9)
  • School of Education and Behavioral Sciences (Brog 101, Brog 102, Ed 101)
  • School of Humanities, Arts, and Design (Brog 101, Brog 102, Ed 101)
  • School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (Henry Hall, Room 104, L2)
  • School of Nursing and Health Professions (Henry Hall, Room 106, 107, 111L)

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Campus Tours

  • Tour our beautiful campus with a current Chaminade student and see Hale Lokelani, a first-year only residence hall!
  • ADA Accommodations are available, please contact the Admissions Office ahead of time at 808-739-8340.

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Student Resource Fair (Second Road)

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Eat the Streets Lunch (Second Road)

  • Taste the goodness of local food vendors and enjoy a free lunch with us. Don’t forget to grab a sweet treat!

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Celebration Room (Wesselkamper Science Center)

  • Ready to say “yes” to your offer of admission and join the #SwordNation? Stop by our celebration room to submit your $200 enrollment deposit on the spot and capture the moment with HNL Photobooth as a souvenir.
  • Use #IChooseChaminade on social media to share your experience at Admitted Student Day!

10:00 AM – 11:15 AM | Sunday Mass (Mystical Rose Oratory)

All are welcome to come and worship in the Sunday Eucharistic Liturgy

The Mystical Rose Oratory is the spiritual home of our Kalaepohaku community that serves the Marianist Brothers and Priests, Saint Louis School, Chaminade University of Honolulu, and our neighbors and friends in the Kaimuki area.
