Biography
Sheryl Dohm has taught at Chaminade since 2006: full-time since 2011. She specializes in first-year mathematics, including day undergraduate, Chuuk, and PACE on-ground and online courses. She serves as the skills coordinator for all NSM developmental math courses and is the general education assessment coordinator for the division. Ms. Dohm is also a member of the WASCUC Core Competency Committee and the Chaminade University Reaccreditation Team. She was also a co-editor/author of the 2014 CUH WASCUC Interim Report. For her dissertation, Ms. Dohm is combining her developmental math teaching experience and assessment expertise to research how universities can better serve STEM majors through Universal Instructional Design.
Education
Ms. Dohm holds a B.S. from the University of Tennessee, M.Ed. from Chaminade University, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. from the University of Southern California. She is also an alumna of the WASCUC Assessment Leadership Academy, Cohort V, 2014-2015.
