The Golden Pine”apple” Award is presented to
the Hawaii Catholic Schools Teacher of the Year
Chaminade University and Catholic Schools Hawaii are pleased to announce that nominations are currently being accepted for the 2018-19 Hawaii Catholic Schools Teacher of the Year.
This award recognizes excellence in teaching within the Catholic Schools in the State of Hawaii. For 2018-19, the recipient of the award will receive the Pine”apple” trophy and a check for $1,000.
Who is eligible for the Teacher of the Year award?
For an individual to be eligible for the Hawaii Catholic Schools Teacher of the Year Award, the nominee must be a full-time teacher or specialist (coach, librarian, counselor, etc.) in a Catholic School in the state of Hawaii.
Who can nominate an individual for the Teacher of the Year award?
Any student, parent, faculty or staff member of a Catholic school is welcome to nominate an individual for the award in collaboration with the school’s principal.
To nominate an individual, please complete the form below and have two additional individuals as well as the principal of the school complete a letter of support via the online forms below.
