Through the generosity of Chaminade University’s donors, we are pleased to award eligible incoming students a need-based endowed or restricted scholarship. Each of these scholarships require that an admitted first-year, transfer or graduate student meet the academic criteria for consideration. In addition to the student’s academic profile, the scholarship may have specific criteria including leadership skills, involvement in community service activities or personal qualities that are consistent with the University’s mission.
Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered for these need-based scholarships as well as federal grants, loans, and or college work-study. The FAFSA is the only form necessary for consideration for the endowed or restricted scholarships. Due to the fluctuating nature of these institutional funds the scholarship will only apply to the recipient’s first year of study at Chaminade.
The University also offers first-year and transfer students both need or merit-based scholarships that are renewable annually. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress and file the FAFSA each year to be considered for need-based awards.
