Transfers students: Two- or three-year scholarship, 100% tuition per year plus eligibility for living allowance based on financial need and rural/neighbor island residency.
Program services: We provide wraparound services for success including dedicated Academic Navigator faculty providing life coaching and academic support; paid internships and employer-ready certification opportunities; culturally-sustaining curriculum and activities; professional development and service programs. Ho’oulu STEM Scholars are also eligible for Chaminade’s Honors programs in Healthcare Innovation, Environmental Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Civic Leadership.

The Ho’oulu STEM Scholarship Program is funded by Kamehameha Schools and Chaminade University. The program applies a preference for Native Hawaiian students to the extent allowable by law. Scholarship awards are targeted at highly talented future STEM professionals with demonstrated financial need.
