Chaminade University offers eligible new first-year and transfer students both merit and need-based institutional scholarships and grants. Institutional scholarships are awarded based on a review of the student’s complete application. Institutional grants will consider the student’s application as well as the ability to pay for a college education. To be eligible for grants, a student must also file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that lists Chaminade University as a recipient of the Student Aid Report generated from the filing of the FAFSA.
The scholarships and grants are renewable each year if the enrolled student maintains a minimum grade point average of a 2.0 and maintains successful progression towards their degree. The FAFSA must be filed each year to qualify for the need-based grants. The award amount for grants may change if the FAFSA determines a change in the level of financial need.
