Through the generosity of Chaminade University’s donors, we are pleased to award eligible continuing day undergraduate and graduate students need-based endowed or restricted scholarships. New incoming students are not eligible. Each of these scholarships require that the student meet the academic criteria for consideration. In addition to the student’s academic profile, the scholarship may have specific criteria including leadership skills, involvement in community service activities or personal qualities that are consistent with the university’s mission.
We ask that all students applying complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the applicable award year. Completing the FAFSA application aids in the awarding process. A large majority of the donor scholarships require the FAFSA to be completed as part of their awarding criteria. Due to the fluctuating nature of these institutional funds, these are one-time only scholarships and not renewed each year.
The application for these scholarships becomes available in January with a deadline of March 1st. Eligible students will be notified via email and the application will be accessible via the student portal.
