She has previously been a Lecturer at Kapiolani Community College and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Professor Jensen teaches general chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry. Her research and professional background includes research technician, immunoassay development at Quidel in San Diego, CA; organometallic chemistry, synthesis and kinetic studies of catalytic systems, single crystal absorption spectroscopy as a graduate student, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of California at Los Angeles; and chemical technician, working on chemical synthesis of transition metal catalysts, electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide at Occidental Research Corporation in Irvine, CA.
