AAS Administration of Justice to BS Criminology and Criminal Justice Pathway
Earn your AAS Administration of Justice from Honolulu Community and transfer to Chaminade University to earn your Criminology and Criminal Justice degree—your General Education/Core Curriculum will be waived. The AAS is not eligible for the Gen Ed waiver. Completion of the AAS will satisfy the following Gen Ed requirements: EN 101, Quantitative Reasoning, Quantitative Skills, Knowledge of Beauty and Creation, and Critical Thinking.
Admission Requirements
- AAS Administration of Justice degree from Honolulu Community College
- As part of the associate’s degree, students should take the following courses, completed with a C or better:
- AJ 103 Criminal Investigation
- AJ 210 Juvenile Justice
- AJ 230 Principles of Police Supervision
- AJ 280 Current Issues in Administration of Justice
Two-Year Criminology and Criminal Justice Degree (to be completed at Chaminade University)
The following Gen Ed courses are built into the two-year completion at CUH: EN 102, COM 101, Catholic Intellectual Tradition, Education for: Formation in Faith, Integral Education, Family Spirit, Service/Justice/Peace, and Adaptation & Change and the Capstone Course
